It is hard to imagine a world without electronic communication networks, so dependent have we all become on the networks which now exist and have become part of the fabric of our daily lives. This book presents papers from CECNet 2023, the 13th International Conference on Electronics, Communications and Networks, held as a hybrid event, in person in Macau, China and online via Microsoft Teams, from 17-20 November 2023. It is almost impossible to imagine life today without the electronics, communications and networks we have all come to take for granted. The 6G network is currently under development and some chips able to operate at the Terahertz (THz) scale have already been introduced, so the next decade will probably see the consolidation of 6G-based technology, as well as many compliant devices.
