Excerpt from The Law Relating to Parish Councils Being the Local Government Act, 1894: Together With an Introduction and Statues Relating to Parish and District Councils, Circulars and Orders of the Local Government Board, Notes, Index, &C To the portions of the Act which relate to the reform of existing authorities it would have been impracticable to apply similar treatment; and I have accordingly, in annotating such portions of the Act, contented myself with endeavouring to elucidate the changes in the law that they effect.
