Book Description
Already held in high esteem as a marque before the war the new Rover chassis of 1948 and new bodywork of 1950 carried on the tradition, equally satisfying to the sedate connoisseur and to the more exacting performance demands of the fast driver. The 75 had a six-cylinder engine and very comfortable bodywork. 1953 saw this supplemented with the 60 for fuel economy and the 90 for higher performance. The front styling of all models was modified for 1957 and all three received overdrive. As prices rose so did the demand for speed. The result of this was the 105S; an upgraded version of the 90. This is a book of contemporary road tests, specification and technical data, new model introductions, long term tests, driver's impressions, touring. Models covered include: 75, 60, 90, Farina, Overdrive, Turbine, 105S, 105R.

Book Description
This comprehensive pictorial overview of Rover cars and car-derived vans covers the 60 years from 1945 to 2005. It describes and illustrates all of the great classic Rovers up to and including the SD1, and goes on to look at the models inherited from British Leyland that attracted Rover badges. It finishes with the models designed in conjunction with Honda; the later British-designed cars – and even the final City Rover. There is also consideration of some Rover models that were designed but, for various reasons, did not enter production, and can now only be seen as prototypes in museums. A title in Veloce’s popular Pictorial History series, this book describes all of the postwar models with illustrations and technical data for each.
