YAHWEH'S Word

YAHWEH'S Word PDF Author: Yahweh

ISBN: 9781088215920

Book Description
THIRD EDITION--When the Apostle Paul, who refers to himself as a Hebrew of Hebrews, writes in 2 Timothy 3:16 that "Every Scripture is Yahweh-breathed", he is making a reference to the original Hebrew Scriptures commonly referred to by most Christians as the Old Testament. Those original inspired Hebrew Scriptures were primarily written in Hebrew with small portions written in Aramaic and included God's proper name, over 6000 times. The transliteration of God's proper name, known as the Tetragrammaton, is YHWH and by a majority consensus is pronounced Yahweh. Yahweh's name is used more than 1000 times in connection with the communication of His Word and over 600 times by the inspired writers of the Psalms. A reading of the Psalms, in any translation where the name Yahweh is used, will confirm the importance of "The Name" and an attitude that all who claim Yahweh as their God should demonstrate in their personal relationship and communication with Him. Since the new millennium began, there have been several Bible translations that have restored the name Yahweh to the Old Testament Scriptures. Leading the way in this new trend is the "World English Bible" first published in 1997 and last updated in September of 2016. Using the "World English Bible" as its translation foundation, "Yahweh's Word" has taken this trend one step farther and has also restored Yahweh's name to the New Testament. The New Testament often records Jesus and his apostles quoting from the Old Testament Scriptures. One can easily assume Jesus, the only begotten Son of Yahweh, would have quoted verbatim from the original Hebrew Scriptures. In "Yahweh's Word", Old Testament references and quotes found in the New Testament have been edited, where possible, to be more consistent with the Old Testament Scriptures. This, in turn, causes the name Yahweh to be read within the text of the New Testament in the same context as it appears in the Old Testament. In the Second Edition of "Yahweh's Word", the name Yahweh was restored an additional 1200 plus times in the New Testament. The proper name, Yahweh, replaces titles like "God" and "the Lord" as well as pronouns "he" and "his" when they are referring to Yahweh. The Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB) was used as the primary resource for making this improvement. The Third Edition of "Yahweh's Word", has a greater emphasis placed on the "Way of Yahweh" which is sometimes referred to simply as "the Way". Matthew 3:1-3 refers to John the Baptizer as he who was spoken of by Isaiah the prophet, saying, "The voice of one who calls, Prepare the Way of Yahweh in the wilderness! Make a level highway in the desert for our God." In Acts 9:1-2, Paul was on his way to Damascus looking for any who were of the Way. Later, after his conversion, in Acts 24:14-15, Paul states, "But this I confess to you, that after the Way, . . . so, I serve the God of our fathers, . . . having a hope toward Yahweh, . . .." The reader of "Yahweh's Word" will see the connection between the Old Testament Scriptures and the New Testament Scriptures from a clear and more accurate perspective.

Young's Literal Translation of the Bible

Young's Literal Translation of the Bible PDF Author: Young, Robert
Publisher: Delmarva Publications, Inc.
ISBN:
Category : Bibles
Languages : en

Book Description
Young’s Literal Translation of the Bible is, as the name implies, a strictly literal translation of the Hebrew and Greek texts (from the Textus Receptus and Majority Text). Compiled by Robert Young in 1862, he went on to produce a revised version in 1887 based on the Westcott-Hort text which had been completed in 1885. Young died on October 14, 1888, and the publisher released a New Revised Edition in 1898. Young used the present tense in many places where other translations used the past tense- particularly in narratives. The Preface to the Second Edition states: “If a translation gives a present tense when the original gives a past, or a past when it has a present; a perfect for a future, or a future for a perfect; an a for a the, or a the for an a; an imperative for a subjunctive, or a subjunctive for an imperative; a verb for a noun, or a noun for a verb, it is clear that verbal inspiration is as much overlooked as if it had no existence. THE WORD OF GOD IS MADE VOID BY THE TRADITIONS OF MEN. [Emphasis in original.]” For example, the YLT version of Genesis begins as follows: 1. In the beginning of God’s preparing the heavens and the earth--- 2. The earth hath existed waste and void, and darkness on the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God fluttering on the face of the waters, 3. And God saith, ‘Let light be;’ and light is. 4. And God seeth the light that it is good, and God seperateth between the light and the darkness, 5. And God alled to the light ‘Day,’ and to the darkness He hath called ‘Night;’ and there is an evening, and there is a morning---day one. Young's Literal Translation in the 1898 Edition also consistently renders the Hebrew Tetragrammaton (the four Hebrew letters usually transliterated YHWH or JHVH that form a biblical proper name of God) throughout the Old Covenant/Testament as "Jehovah", instead of the traditional practice of "LORD" in small capitals, which was used in editions prior to 1898. Young's usage of English present tense rather than past tense has been supported by scholars ranging from the medieval Jewish rabbi Rashi (who advised, "If you are going to interpret [this passage] in its plain sense, interpret it thus: At the beginning of the creation of heaven and earth, when the earth was (or the earth being) unformed and void . . . God said, ‘Let there be light.’") to Richard Elliott Friedman in his translation of the Five Books in "The Bible with Sources Revealed" (2002). Hebrew Israelites Biblical Feast Days

Hebrew Israelites Biblical Feast Days PDF Author: Unknown Hebrew
Publisher: Unknown Hebrew
ISBN: 1951476441

Pages : 44

Book Description
What are the Biblical Feast days, and how we are to celebrate them? We have been commanded to keep the Feast days forever. We read in Leviticus 23:2 ELOHIM speaking to Moses; it says, “2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of YAHUAH, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.” Did you notice that YAHUAH says, “2...my feast....” This is key; we must understand this; these Feasts are His; we are instructed to keep them in a particular way for a reason. Leviticus 23:4 reads, “4 These are the feasts of YAHUAH, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.” Read Leviticus 23:44, which states, “44 And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of YAHUAH.” We see, once again, these are YAHUAH feasts. These Feasts have to do with Seasons; why is that important? 1st Chronicles 23:31 states, “31 And to offer all burnt sacrifices unto YAHUAH in the sabbaths, in the new moons, and on the set feasts, by number, according to the order commanded unto them, continually before YAHUAH.” Read 2nd Chronicles 2:4, which tells us, “4 Behold, I build an house to the name of YAHUAH my ELOHIM, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual shewbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of YAHUAH our ELOHIM. This is an ordinance for ever to Israel." These Feasts given by YAHUAH to the Israelites are prophetic Feast of events that would take place in the future, and some cases have already taken place. We can go even further back in the Scriptures to the book of Exodus 23:14-17, where ELOHIM tells us, “14 Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year. 15 Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:) 16 And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field. 17 Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before YAHUAH ELOHIM.” ELOHIM is telling us; we shall do this. Note that ELOHIM’s Feast can be found in the Old and the New Testaments; the Messiah and His disciples kept them. Matthew 26:17 states, “17 Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to YAHUSHUA, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover?" YAHUSHUA is telling His disciples to go and find a place that He can eat a Passover with them. Paul connected YAHUSHUA with the sacrifice (the sacrifice of the Messiah) with the Passover. Read 1st Corinthians 5:7, which says, “7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Mashiach our passover is sacrificed for us.” We have just given a peek at what the Scriptures are saying about the importance of the Feast. It is equally important to know how we are to celebrate. This excellent book explains the what and the how aspects of the Feasts days that YAHUAH gave the Israelites. The book will explain how YAHUSHUA fulfilled the first 3 Feast and the 4th one was fulfilled on Pentecost - to the very day and hour! We are awaiting the Fall Feast.
