In the last two decades, plant biology has developed rapidly, ranging from molecular genetics, cell biology, and physiology to ecology and evolutionary issues, both for economic species and species unrelated to humans. Case Studies in Paleoethnobotany focuses on interpretation in paleoethnobotany. In it the reader is guided through the process of analyzing archaeobotanical data and of using that data to address research questions.
