Book Description
The final report on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. The Review Board has worked hard to obtain all records relating to the assassination of President Kennedy and to release the records to the fullest extent possible to the American people. They have done so in the hope that release of these records will shed new evidentiary light on the assassination, enrich the historical understanding of that tragic moment in American history, and help restore public confidence in the government's handling of the assassination and its aftermath.

Book Description
All of the controversial aspects of the assassination of President Kennedy are examined in these three critical reports: the original Warren Commission report, the report of the Select Committee on Assassinations of the U.S. House of Representatives in 1979, and the Assassination Records Review Board report of 1998. Because of the enormous size of these documents, for the paperback reproduction it has been divided into three volumes, as follows:VOLUME 1: Warren Commission Report, part one * VOLUME 2: Warren Commission Report, part two; Report of the Select Committee on Assassinations of the U.S. House of Representatives, part one * VOLUME 3: Report of the Select Committee on Assassinations of the U.S. House of Representatives, part two; Final Report of the Assassination Records Review BoardWarren Commission: Appointed by President Johnson after the assassination, The Commission reviewed reports by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Secret Service, Department of State, and the Attorney General of Texas, and then requested additional information from federal agencies, Congressional committees, and state and local experts. The Commission held hearings and took the testimony of 552 witnesses. On several occasions, the Commission went to Dallas to visit the scene of the assassination and other places. The Commission presented its Report, in which each member concurred, to the President on September 24, 1964.Select Committee: The House Select Committee on Assassinations was established in September 1976 by House Resolution 1540, 94th Congress, 2d Session. The resolution authorized a 12-member select committee to conduct a full and complete investigation of the circumstances surrounding the deaths of President John F. Kennedy and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The committee was constituted for the four remaining months of the 94th Congress. This report presents the committee's analysis and synthesis of the evidence the committee obtained on all four issues the committee deemed necessary to fulfill its mandate. The committee issues this report to fulfill its legislative and informing responsibilities under the Constitution.Assassination Records Review Board: This panel was formed as a result of the 1992 President John F. Kennedy Records Collection Act. "The Review Board has worked hard to obtain all records relating to the assassination of President Kennedy and to release the records to the fullest extent possible to the American people. The Board and its staff have contributed significant professional and personal time to this important effort. We have done so in the hope that release of these records will shed new evidentiary light on the assassination of President Kennedy, enrich the historical understanding of that tragic moment in American history, and help restore public confidence in the government's handling of the assassination and its aftermath. The Review Board's Final Report is unanimous. It summarizes the Board's experience in interpreting and applying this unique way to provide broad access to government records. Most importantly, it illuminates the Review Board's legacy--the John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection at the National Archives." Contents: Chapter 1: The Problem of Secrecy and the Solution of the JFK Act * Chapter 2: Establishment of the Review Board and Definition of "Assassination Record" * Chapter 3: Public Activities of the Assassination Records Review Board * Chapter 4: Developing the Review Process * Chapter 5: The Standards for Review: Review Board "Common Law" * Chapter 6, Part I: The Quest for Additional Information and Records in Federal Government Offices * Chapter 6, Part II: Clarifying the Federal Record on the Zapruder Film and the Medical and Ballistics Evidence * Chapter 7: Pursuit of Records and Information from Non-Federal Sources * Chapter 8: Compliance with JFK Act by Government Offices

Inside the Assassination Records Review Board, Volume I (1 Of 5) PDF Author: Douglas P. Horne

ISBN: 9780984314409
Category : History

Pages : 426

Book Description
VOLUME 1 of 5: Douglas Horne served on the staff of the President John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Review Board (ARRB) during the final three years of its four-year lifespan, from 1995 to 1998, and is the first U.S. government official involved with the medical evidence to allege a coverup in President Kennedy's autopsy, and in the creation of the autopsy photographs and x-rays. This book, the product of over 13 years of writing and research, provides the best explanation yet offered of the true nature of the medical coverup in the assassination of John F. Kennedy, and does so in meticulous detail, with scrupulous use of primary source material. It incorporates the latest information---much of it new evidence not revealed elsewhere---gleaned from the ARRB's depositions and interviews of medical witnesses, conducted from 1996 to 1998. With precise accuracy, and with a relentless focus on the massive fraud uncovered in the official records of the 35th President's assassination, Horne presents a persuasive case that the assassination of JFK was an "inside job," a true coup d'etat in America, that was ruthlessly and brazenly covered up by those who 'broke the back of the American century' in Dallas on November 22, 1963. IN VOLUME ONE, THE AUTHOR EXPLAINS THE ORIGINS AND PURPOSE OF THE ASSASSINATION RECORDS REVIEW BOARD (ARRB), AND RELATES HOW HE CAME TO JOIN THAT EFFORT IN 1995. HE PRESENTS AN OVERVIEW OF THE MAJOR CONFLICTS WITHIN THE MEDICAL EVIDENCE IN THE JFK CASE, AND TAKES THE READER INSIDE THE ARRB TO WITNESS ITS DEPOSITIONS OF THE THREE MILITARY PATHOLOGISTS WHO PERFORMED JFK'S AUTOPSY. HE COMMENCES HIS LONG EXAMINATION OF THE MANY PROBLEMS WITH THE COLLECTION OF AUTOPSY PHOTOGRAPHS IN THE NATIONAL ARCHIVES (WHICH IS CONCLUDED IN VOLUME TWO). ALL OF THE NINETY (90) ILLUSTRATIONS FOR THE FIVE VOLUME SET ARE INCLUDED IN VOLUME ONE. (Second Printing---with corrections entered---now for sale.)

The Radical Right and the Murder of John F. Kennedy

The Radical Right and the Murder of John F. Kennedy PDF Author: Harrison E. Livingstone
Publisher: Trafford Publishing
ISBN: 1412040558
Category : History
Languages : en
Pages : 632

Book Description
The Radical Right and the Murder of John F. Kennedy: Stunning Evidence in the Assassination of the President Harrison E. Livingstone's major new book, the fifth of his works on the death of JFK, brings together for the first time all of the central evidence demonstrating a domestic Right Wing conspiracy rooted in Texas which assassinated the President on November 22, 1963. The book represents forty years of work. The book discusses in great detail the actual medical evidence and the forgery of the autopsy photographs and X-rays, which Mr. Livingstone first exposed, the alteration of the autopsy report, the framing of the designated patsy, Lee Harvey Oswald, and the substitution and fabrication of every single piece of evidence. It discusses the role played in the murder by some of the most powerful men in the country: Lyndon Johnson, J. Edgar Hoover, and Richard Nixon, as well as the rich oil men and companies who backed them. It then describes the cover-ups by the media, the major investigations over the years, the FBI, and the mind-control cooperation at work in the case to misdirect researchers and the public. The book describes in great detail the people and companies in Texas who planned and carried out the assassination. It names names. One recent investigation in the 90s followed Mr. Livingstone's preceeding work and reinvestigated with the witnesses both he and the official investigations had talked to, but this time took into consideration their documentation and what they had actually said, and in a chapter this is his stunning new evidence from the U.S. government under President Clinton that is blowing the lid off the case. Mr. Livingstone first revealed to the Washington press corps in 1998 that there has been such a secret investigation, and spoke for fifty minutes when the Assassination Records Review Board gave their final press conference. As a result, Mr. Livingstone was on all major TV networks and on the "Today" show (NBC) with Katie Couric the next morning. The book also contains the story of Dallas doctor Charles Crenshaw's law suit and the depositions of the editor and writer of the Journal of American Medical Association who libeled him in articles in 1992. Dr. Crenshaw's book about trying to save Kennedy at Parkland Hospital shortly after the shooting came out on the same day as Mr. Livingstone's major work on the medical evidence, High Treason 2, were JAMA's targets, and the depositions contain much discussion of Mr. Livingstone's major impact on the JFK case. This new book is to be followed closely by a sixth book entirely about the Zapruder film, called The Hoax of the Century: Decoding the Forgery of the Zapruder Film.
