There was a need of developing a smart phone app, that can decode information our of a QR, and let the user process the information. This book presents the implementation and development of a QR code reader application in Real-time. QRoid is an android application which efficiently extracts data and stores and processes the extracted data. QRoid extracts a QR code from an observed image and extracts and processes the information decoded in it. We have used image processing algorithms for this purpose. This book can be useful to professionals working either in the QR domain, or looking to familiarize themselves with the Image Processing techniques in Real Time.
