Corporate security is a form of regulation that involves centralized management of access control, physical security, personnel security, and information security inside an organization. The terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, and Hurricane Katrina in August 2005, generated a great deal of discussion in public policy and disaster management circles about the importance of increasing national resilience to rebound from catastrophic events.
