The CompTIA exams are computer based - no need for paper and pencil at all. It has multiple choice questions only. CTP+ deals with foundation level knowledge on data+voice networking. Convergence technologies are about the merging of voice (telephony) and data networking over the same infrastructure. The goal is to allow voice and data to run over the same network.
