This publication contains a comprehensive table summarizing each exception. On August 22, 2005, the Committee on Rules of Practice approved Interim Bankruptcy Rules for adoption by the local bankruptcy courts. The Interim Rules are designed to implement the changes mandated by the Reform Act until national rules are adopted, which is not anticipated until December 1, 2008. On or about October 14, 2005 and October 1, 2006, the Committee approved revisions to the Interim Rules. The Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure set forth in this publication reflect, in black line format, the changes effected by the revised Interim Rules. On December 1, 2006, amendments to the following Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure took effect: Bankruptcy Rules 1009, 5005, and 7004. The Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure set forth in this publication reflect these and earlier amendments. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Key Benefits:The Black Line shows each change to the Bankruptcy Code effected by the Reform Act and each change to the Bankruptcy Rules effected by the revised Interim Bankruptcy Rules.
