The code sections set forth herein are current through Nov. 26, 2006 (Public Law 109-374). The Reform Act provides that, as a general rule, it shall not apply to cases commenced under Title 11 prior to October 17, 2005. However, the Act also sets forth a number of exceptions. On August 22, 2005, the Committee on Rules of Practice approved Interim Bankruptcy Rules for adoption by the local bankruptcy courts. On or about October 14, 2005 and October 1, 2006, the Committee approved revisions to the Interim Rules. On December 1, 2006, amendments to the following Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure took effect: Bankruptcy Rules 1009, 5005, and 7004.
