And He Walks with Me

And He Walks with Me PDF Author: Vivi Anderson
Publisher: Xulon Press
ISBN: 9781613790731
Category : Biography & Autobiography
Languages : en
Pages : 246

Book Description
AND HE WALKS WITH ME is a project that God put on my heart in 2009. Since then I have worked on stories, reviewed many pictures, and painted a picture for the front cover. This is a labor of love so that my family and friends can know more fully why I am so devoted to our Lord, Jesus Christ. The title is derived from one of my favorite old hymns that I learned in church as a brand new Christian. It has a chorus that says "And He walks with me and He talks with me, and He tells me I am his own." The front cover is derived from a vivid dream I had in June of 2010 where I saw myself as a little girl walking hand in hand with Jesus towards a bright and glowing horizon. I drew a sketch of it the very next day and then tried to find someone to paint it for me. My son, Mike Jr., told me that I should paint it myself. I responded that he had way too much confidence in my ability. However, his words stayed with me and I worked up the courage to try to paint it myself in March of 2011. You see, I haven't painted since the 1970's and I was very unsure of my artistic abilities after such a long period of time. I was able to paint what I saw in my dream and my publisher put it on the front cover for me. All because my son had faith in me and encouraged me to try, and also because, I prayed that God would help me, and He did! May you find hope and encouragement as you read my stories, because if God did it for me He can do it for you. The Bible says that God is no respecter of persons and that He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Love, Vivi Anderson
