Taking authority means we use every resource available to us given by God to take back our power and take authority over the devil. Taking authority gives us the authority not be or feel powerless. Taking authority allows us to be in full control of our lives and the situations and circumstances surrounding and in our lives and the lives of our loved ones. Taking authority means staying in full control of our ability, our healing, our deliverance, our salvation, our blessings, our past, present and our future. Taking authority gives us the power to command. Taking authority allows us to take control of our lives and keep the control in our hands not in the devil's hands. Taking authority means knowing how to be humble and not haughty, how to serve as well as be served. God gives us power and authority to trample on serpents. God gives us the power to get wealth. God gives us power and authority to heal all manner of sickness and disease. So then why are there so many people possessed by demons? Why are there so many people sick and afflicted? Why are there so many people in lack and living in poverty? Because we haven't taken authority and control. Instead we have allowed Satan to take authority and control over us. Therefore we take authority over the devil and take back our power by commanding the devil to obey.
