Sijice then I have visited Quebec, and have carefully examined all the localities connected with the assault of that city, December 31, 1775.To present the results of these observations, and to correct some errors fallen into on supposed good authority, I have re-written the whole Memoir, which I now present to you with the request that you will return to me the previous imperfect copy, if I sent you one.
