This volume re-configures education as inextricable from other anthropogenic threats and natural forces that seem to become increasingly intertwined in joint production of our current predicament. It urges educational theorists, practitioners, and policymakers to engage with thinking, practicing, and revolutionizing educational futures. This volume discusses theory, philosophy, praxis and methods in Environmental and Ecological education, and considers the junction with the main visions and issues of Critical Pedagogy. The first axis concerns the missing theoretical and practical pieces at this point in time.
