Descendants of William Baldridge (1689-1772), born in Tyrone, province of Ulster, Ireland, the son of Richard Baldridge. He emigrated from Coleraine Co., Londonderry, Ire., in 1726, landing in Philadelphia, Pa., with his wife Janette Holmes (1694-1768) and their six children. They settled in Little Britain Twp., Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania. Janette Holmes was born in County Down, Ireland to James and Margaret (Jennings) Holmes. Descendants live in Texas, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, Tennessee, Virginia, California, North Carolina and else- where.
