He was a guest lecturer and Artist in Residence at the Midnite International Dramatic Arts Festival in Perth, Western Australia, and has regularly appeared in the media discussing his various creative and educational projects. He is an award winning independent filmmaker as writer/director of "Nuryan", which won the best horror/sci fi category at the London Independent Film festival (LIFF)
