Arktos PDF Author: Joscelyn Godwin
Publisher: Adventures Unlimited Press
ISBN: 9780932813350
Category : Nature
Languages : en
Pages : 278

Book Description
"Arktos is the first book ever written on the archetype of the Poles: celestial and terrestrial, North and South. It is a hair-raising voyage through cosmology, occultism and conspiracy theory leads to startling revelations about the secrets of the Poles. The author investigates legends of a Golden Age, which some claim ended in a prehistoric catastrophe, a shift in the earth's axis. This is examined in the light of the latest geological theories, as are predictions of a coming pole-shift. The perennial fascination of these ideas is shown to be part of a "polar tradition" of hidden wisdom. There are many recorded tales of an ancient race said to have lived in the Arctic regions, which later spread through the Northern Hemisphere. This supposedly "Aryan Race" entered the pantheon of Nazi Germany, with dreadful consequences. The author examines the origins of modern neo-Nazi ideology, its "polar" inspiration, and its links with other arcana, including the survival of Hitler, German bases in Antarctica, UFOS, the Hollow Earth, and the hidden kingdoms of Agartha and Shambhala. However, "Arktos" differs from most writings on these subjects in its responsible and scholarly treatment, and its extensive use of foreign-language sources."--Provided by publisher.

Routledge Revivals: Man and Technics (1932)

Routledge Revivals: Man and Technics (1932) PDF Author: Oswald Spengler
Publisher: Routledge
ISBN: 1351980947
Category : Philosophy
Languages : en
Pages : 59

Book Description
First published in 1932, this book, based on an address delivered in 1931, presents a concise and lucid summary of the philosophy of the author of The Decline of the West, Oswald Spengler. It was his conviction that the technical age — the culture of the machine age — which man had created in virtue of his unique capacity for individual as well as racial technique, had already reached its peak, and that the future held only catastrophe. He argued it lacked progressive cultural life and instead was dominated by a lust for power and possession. The triumph of the machine led to mass regimentation rather than fewer workers and less work — spelling the doom of Western civilization.

The Outlaws

The Outlaws PDF Author: Ernst Von Salomon
Publisher: Arktos
ISBN: 1907166491
Category : Fiction
Languages : en
Pages : 436

Book Description
It is November 1918. Germany has just surrendered after four years of the most savage warfare in history. It is teetering on the brink of total social and economic collapse, and the German people now lie at the mercy of new, liberal politicians who despise everything Germany once stood for. The Communists are rioting in the streets, threatening to topple the new government in Weimar and bring about their own revolution. The frontline soldiers are returning from the hell of the war to find an unrecognizable land, the principles and traditions they had sacrificed so much to defend now the stuff of mockery. The narrator of The Outlaws, a 16-year-old military cadet, is too young to have served in the trenches, but feels the sting of this betrayal no less than they. Since Germany's armies have been all but disbanded, he joins the paramilitary Freikorps - groups of veterans who refuse to lay down their arms, and who have pledged to stop the Communists - and begins fighting, first in the streets of Germany's cities, and then in the Baltic states, defending Germany's eastern frontiers from Communist subversion while ignoring the calls to disengage by the meek politicians at home. After months of intense fighting abroad, the Freikorps soldiers return to settle scores with their enemies in Germany, dreaming of a nationalist counter-revolution, and, their trigger fingers still itchy, fix their sights on bringing down the hated new government once and for all... The Outlaws is a chronicle of the experiences of the men who fought in the Freikorps, but it is also an adventure and a war story about an entire generation of soldiers who loved their homeland more than peace and comfort, and who refused to accept defeat at any price. "What we wanted we did not know; but what we knew we did not want. To force a way through the prisoning wall of the world, to march over burning fields, to stamp over ruins and scattered ashes, to dash recklessly through wild forests, over blasted heaths, to push, conquer, eat our way through towards the East, to the white, hot, dark, cold land that stretched between ourselves and Asia - was that what we wanted? I do not know whether that was our desire, but that was what we did. And the search for reasons why was lost in the tumult of continuous fighting." - p. 65 Ernst von Salomon (1902-1972) was one of the writers of the German Conservative Revolution of the 1920s. Like the narrator of The Outlaws, he was a military cadet at the end of the First World War, and joined the Freikorps, participating in many of the events described in the book, including the assassination of Foreign Minister Walther Rathenau, for which he was imprisoned. He went on to write many books and film scripts.

Recognitions

Recognitions PDF Author: Julius Evola
Publisher:
ISBN: 9781912079179
Category :
Languages : en
Pages : 340

Book Description
This volume contains a rich collection of Julius Evola's late essays. Distilling the work of a lifetime, these essays, despite the great diversity of their subjects, all depart from Evola's basic and intransigent principles. From a consideration of specific personalities, such as Donoso CortÉs, Vilfredo Pareto, Joseph de Maistre, Metternich, Michelstaedter, and Henry Miller, to the investigation of an entire series of problems, such as the "revolution from the heights," the "twilight of the East," the myth of the West, political versus biological youth, and the emergence of the Fifth Estate, this book also includes doctrinal analyses of Zen Buddhism, the so-called Left-Hand Path, the "myth of the future regality," neo-realism, and the "fetish for magic" -- analyses which delve atimes also into the past, as in the evocation of Emperor Julian, the indication of the significance which the Sibylline Books had in Ancient Rome, and the investigation into the mysteries of Mithras. The material herein is wide and various, but in all cases of perennial interest, and Evola's treatment brings essential normative values to the fore -- values which might serve for the interior and spiritual formation of a new generation.

Culturism

Culturism PDF Author: John Kenneth Press
Publisher: eBookIt.com
ISBN: 145660421X
Category : Education
Languages : en
Pages : 319

Book Description
Culturism is the opposite of multiculturalism. Multiculturalism says that western nations have no core culture; our lands are just neutral spaces where random cultures assemble. Culturism acknowledges that we have a core culture rooted in Athens and Jerusalem. Culturism defies globalism. Islamic nations and China do not believe in rights, the relative separation of church and state, democracy, or free speech. These are not universal values; they are western values. To protect them, we must protect the West. Like all other nations, we have a right to have culturist economic and immigration policies. Culturism disarms those who abuse the word "racist" in order to stop discussion. Pointing out that different ethnic groups have different levels of economic and educational achievement is not racist; it is culturist. Culturist profiling is not racist. Racism is stupid. But if cultural diversity is real, discussing cultural diversity is rational and necessary. Neither inherently conservative nor liberal, culturism argues against invading other nations to spread Western values to nations that do not want them. It also argues for the right of our schools to teach culturist, pro-western, curriculum. Stop the corrosive spread of multiculturalism and politically correct censorship. Spread the words culturism and culturist today!

Generation Identity

Generation Identity PDF Author: Markus Willinger
Publisher: Arktos
ISBN: 1907166416
Category : Philosophy
Languages : en
Pages : 106

Book Description
The denial of the European peoples' right to their own heritage, history and even their physical homelands has become part of the cultural fundament of the modern West. Mass immigration, selective and vilifying propaganda, and a constant barrage of perverse or, at best, pointless consumer culture all contribute to the transformation of Europe into a non-entity. Her native population consists mostly of atomistic individuals, lacking any semblance of purpose or direction, increasingly victimised by a political system with no interest in the people it governs. There are many views on how this came to be, but the revolt of May 1968 was certainly of singular importance in creating the apolitical, self-destructive situation that postmodern Europe is in today. This book presents the author's take on the ideology of the budding identitarian movement. Willinger presents a crystal-clear image of what has gone wrong, and indicates the direction in which we should look for our solutions. Moving seamlessly between the spheres of radical politics and existential philosophy, Generation Identity explains in a succinct, yet poetic fashion what young Europeans must say - or should say - to the corrupt representatives of the decrepit social structures dominating our continent. This is not a manifesto, it is a declaration of war.

A Handbook for Right-Wing Youth

A Handbook for Right-Wing Youth PDF Author: Julius Evola
Publisher:
ISBN: 9781912079599
Category : Conservatism
Languages : en
Pages : 182

Book Description
A Handbook for Right-Wing Youth consists of essays selected from throughout Evola's lifetime, but most especially from the post-war era, when youth across the Western world had thrown their societies into chaos with protests, civil unrest, and by defying conventional mores. According to Evola, the problem was not with the youth themselves, given that he viewed the inquisitive and seeking mentality associated with the young as essential toward opening oneself to the wisdom of Tradition, but rather with the fact that post-war Western civilisation itself had come to venerate youthfulness over maturity, thus leaving the young without any guidance or authority. Evola believed that it was only by channelling the energies of the rebellious youth into the political Right -- not the Right of today, but rather that Right which represents the timeless principles which stem from before the advent of liberalism -- thus restoring the West to a healthy and organic condition once again. In these essays, he defines those principles which must be undertaken by youth -- not just by those young in age, but those young in spirit as well -- if they are to gain mastery not only over their societies, but also over themselves. As such, while this is a book aimed at the young, it is not exclusively for them. This book was assembled out of Evola's writings by the Hungarian traditionalists, and includes a Foreword by GÁbor Vona, Chairman of Hungary's political party, Jobbik.

Can Life Prevail?

Can Life Prevail? PDF Author: Pentti Linkola
Publisher: Arktos Media Limited
ISBN:
Category : Nature
Languages : en
Pages : 220

Book Description
With the train of civilisation hurtling at ever-increasing speed towards self-destruction, the most pressing question facing humanity in the 21st century is that of the preservation of life. Can Life Prevail?, the latest book by Finnish environmentalist Pentti Linkola, provides a radical yet firmly grounded perspective on the ecological problems threatening both the biosphere and human culture. With essays covering topics as diverse as animal rights, extinction, deforestation, terrorism and overpopulation, Can Life Prevail? for the first time makes the lucid, challenging writing of Linkola available to an English-speaking public. "By decimating its woodlands, Finland has created the grounds for prosperity. We can now thank prosperity for bringing us - among other things - two million cars, millions of glaring, grey-black electronic entertainment boxes, and many unnecessary buildings to cover the green earth. Wealth and surplus money have led to financial gambling and rampant social injustice, whereby 'the common people' end up contributing to the construction of golf courses, classy hotels, and holiday resorts, while fattening Swiss bank accounts. Besides, the people of wealthy countries are the most frustrated, unemployed, unhappy, suicidal, sedentary, worthless and aimless people in history. What a miserable exchange." Kaarlo Pentti Linkola was born in Helsinki in 1932. Having spent most of his life working as a professional fisherman, he now continues to lead a materially simple existence in the countryside. A renowned figure in Finland, since the 1960s Linkola has published numerous books on environmentalism. Today, he is among the foremost exponents of the philosophy of deep ecology.
