This subject suggests itself as not inappropriate, and I trust it will lead to a train of remark not entirely without interest. A much broader subject would be my retrospections of Buffalo, including matters which relate not alone to medicine, but to medical politics and personal experiences in connection with different members of the medical profession. It would not be fitting on this occasion to embrace these in my reminis cences, since they would involve references to events and persons, which might not be acceptable to all.
