Raymond MacDonald is Professor of Music Psychology and Improvisation and Head of The School of Music at University of Edinburgh. He runs music workshops and lectures internationally and has published over 70 peer reviewed papers and book chapters. This report explores the interface between recent socio-political changes in Namibia, and the way they are reflected in emergent musical practices and identities within the country.
