Gefragt wird nach biographischen Prägungen, nach der Wahrnehmung gesellschaftlicher Wirklichkeit und nach dem Verständnis von Geschichtsdidaktik. In den Gesprächen wird deutlich, dass die Entwicklung nicht unumstritten war und die Debatte darüber zum Teil polemische Züge annahm.
